Having read the piece (I strongly recommend you do as well dear reader) I am firmly convinced that this poor misguided bugger is the victim of a witch-hunt + scapegoat search = PR win for the real fuck-ups...
I mean seriously, this guy was (admittedly illegally and out-right stupidly) looking for supressed evidence about UFOs, not attempting to bring the US military network down - 45 years he faces!
